About diaphragms
A diaphragm is a flexible membrane that separates two spaces and passes pressure or movement between them. We supply rubber diaphragms in EPDM and nitrile, canvas-reinforced diaphragms, replacement diaphragms for diaphragm and deluge valves, and PTFE and Santoprene diaphragms for air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps.
Send the old diaphragm, a photo with sizes, or the valve or pump make and model, and we'll match it.

Which diaphragm material is right for my pump?
PTFE resists almost every chemical, Santoprene gives long flex life for general duty, EPDM suits water and many acids, and nitrile suits oils.
Why use a canvas-reinforced diaphragm?
The fabric layer stops the rubber stretching under pressure, so the diaphragm keeps its shape and lasts longer in valves and actuators.
How do I order a valve diaphragm?
Tell us the valve make, size and type, or send the old diaphragm. Valves of the same size from different makers often take different diaphragms.
