About oil seals
Oil seals (radial shaft seals) keep lubricant in and dust and water out where a rotating shaft leaves a housing. We stock genuine SKF and Gold Super oil seals alongside TC, SC, VC, SB, TA and SA profiles, cassette and split seals, V-rings and PTFE lip seals in nitrile (NBR), Viton (FKM) and ACM.
Oil seals are sized shaft × bore × width in millimetres, for example 35 × 62 × 7. Read the numbers off the old seal, or measure the shaft and housing, and send them on WhatsApp for stock and price.

What do the numbers on an oil seal mean?
They are the shaft diameter, the housing bore and the width in millimetres. A 40 × 62 × 8 seal fits a 40 mm shaft in a 62 mm bore and is 8 mm wide.
What is the difference between TC and SC oil seals?
Both have a rubber-covered outside and a spring-loaded main lip. TC adds a second dust lip to keep dirt out; SC has a single lip for clean, enclosed housings.
Which oil seal material should I choose?
Nitrile (NBR) suits most oils and greases up to about 100 °C. Viton (FKM) is for higher temperatures and fuels, and PTFE lip seals handle dry running, high speed and aggressive chemicals.
