A PTFE lip seal runs where rubber fails: high temperature, high speed, dry running and aggressive chemicals. These have a stainless steel case. This one is made in PTFE, with very low friction and resistance to almost every chemical.
It is rated for pressures up to 3.5 MPa (35 bar) and temperatures from −70 °C to +250 °C, at surface speeds up to 30 m/s.
