A magnetic piston seal carries a magnet, so position sensors on the outside of the cylinder can detect where the piston is. This one is made in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), tough and wear resistant.
It is rated for pressures up to 2 MPa (20 bar) and temperatures from −25 °C to +80 °C, at sliding speeds up to 1 m/s.
