A double-acting seal seals in both directions, so one groove does the work of two single-acting seals. This one is made in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), tough and wear resistant.

It is rated for pressures up to 50 MPa (500 bar) and temperatures from −30 °C to +80 °C, at sliding speeds up to 0.5 m/s.
