This part does two jobs on an air cylinder rod: it seals the air in and wipes dirt off. This one is made in polyurethane (PU), which resists wear and extrusion far better than rubber.

It is rated for pressures up to 1.6 MPa (16 bar) and temperatures from −20 °C to +80 °C, at sliding speeds up to 1 m/s.
