A U-ring is a lip seal: system pressure pushes its lips against the rod or bore, so it seals tighter as pressure rises. This version is made in rubber, some types with fabric reinforcement for higher pressure. Material: NBR / FKM with fabric.

It is rated for pressures up to 70 MPa (700 bar) and temperatures from −30 °C to +200 °C, at sliding speeds up to 0.5 m/s.
