A cup seal is a heavy-section lip seal that copes with high pressure and rough service on older or heavy-duty cylinders. This one is made in nitrile (NBR), which handles mineral oils, greases and water well.

It is rated for pressures up to 40 MPa (400 bar) and temperatures from −30 °C to +110 °C, at sliding speeds up to 4 m/s.
