A cap seal is a bronze-filled PTFE ring pressed against the sliding surface by a rubber energiser. It runs with very low friction and no stick-slip, and lasts well at higher speeds. Material: Bronze-filled PTFE / NBR / POM.

It is rated for pressures up to 60 MPa (600 bar) and temperatures from −30 °C to +110 °C, at sliding speeds up to 1.5 m/s.
